I am a gilt frame, objects, and decorative surfaces conservator and restorer. Believe it or not, I worked in a lab wearing a white coat for 3 years and they still gave me a Bachelor of Arts degree! I then gained my Masters in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage from the University of Lincoln and have worked in the Fine Arts sector for over 5 years gaining extensive experience in restoring and conserving antiques. 

I was mentored for by Ruth Tappin who was the gilding expert on 'Salvage Hunters The Restorers' on Quest and Disney Plus, and I have restored several frames for high profile individuals and celebrities. 

I offer a bespoke service which includes: 

• a comprehensive assessment of any necessary conservation or restoration work

• restoration of antique/period picture/mirror frames and gilt wood furniture

• all structural treatments for damaged frames, objects and decorative surfaces

• preparation of full treatment proposals and reports 

• assessing, archiving and cataloguing where required 

• very close liaison with clients and respect for individual needs and requests 

• advanced reconstructive gilt frame, object and surface treatments including 3D printing

• oil, water and acrylic gilding

• antiquing gilded surfaces
